Job Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age
Have a high school diploma or equivalent
Have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
Demonstrate outgoing and friendly behavior
Show a positive attitude
Ability to interact effectively with customers
Ability to operate front end equipment including register, calculator, scanner
Be dependable and reliable
Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
Good communication skills
Ability to take direction and constructive criticism
Ability to participate in a team environment
Ability to perform repetitive activities
Ability to multitask, prioritize and stay organized
Must be able to lift and carry product weighing up to 30 lbs from 36 to 24 inches for distances up to 3 feet for up to 50 hours without mechanical assistance
Must use both hands to move grocery carts horizontally requiring a force up to 35 lbs for distances up to 4 feet for up to 50 hours
Strong attention to detail
Proficiency in cash handling and mathematical skills
Ability to read, write and count

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Process customer orders quickly, accurately and efficiently
Handle cash, credit, and debit payments securely
Provide friendly and prompt customer service
Assist customers with product location and store information
Resolve customer complaints professionally
Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas
Assist with stocking, facing, and dusting shelves as needed
