Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred
1-3 months of cashiering experience
Strong communication skills
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings
Demonstrates attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Shows strong initiative and vision for continuous improvement
Ability to work assigned schedules including evenings and weekends

Job Duties

Greet all customers when entering and exiting the store
Promote the Scheels Visa Rewards card and clearly explain all benefits
Accurately balance cash drawer at the end of the day
Maintain a clean working environment and personal work space
Engage in conversation with the customer to add a personal touch to each transaction
End each transaction by saying thank you to every customer
Maintain a professional appearance on the sales floor
