Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Basic math skills
Ability to listen to customer needs and communicate clearly
Mastery of POS functions
Ability to function in a fast-paced work environment
Physical ability to stand, walk on hard surfaces, bend, reach, climb, kneel, squat, and lift 40-50 pounds regularly
Ability to perform cleaning and light maintenance with prescribed chemicals
Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Relevant cashier experience preferred

Job Duties

Provide fast, friendly, and accurate checkout services
Transact customer items on POS units and all acceptable payment methods
Transact beer purchases following state alcoholic beverage laws
Balance cash drawer at start and end of shifts
Process exchanges and refunds per company policy
Maintain clean and tidy checkout area
Assist in stocking, rotating merchandise and marking labels
Respond to customer complaints as first responder
Train new cashiers
Perform other duties as assigned
Work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and busy days
