Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- punctuality and reliability for variable shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- adherence to Smashburger uniform policy
- successful completion of Smashburger training program
- ability to comply with local, state, and federal employment guidelines
- valid authorized U.S. work documents
- participation in E-Verify system

Job Duties
- Greet guests with a smile
- promote a fun and positive work environment
- work effectively as a team with cooks and managers in a busy restaurant
- be knowledgeable of all menu items to make meal suggestions and answer questions
- verify each guest order for accuracy and manage to-go orders
- process POS transactions and follow cash handling procedures
- visit tables after food delivery to ensure guest satisfaction
- adhere to marketing promotions and encourage guests to complete surveys
- maintain cleanliness of floors, counters, dining area, and restrooms
- follow company cash policies to minimize losses
- upsell food items through thoughtful suggestions
- follow order accuracy procedures to ensure customer satisfaction
- foster a safe work environment by following safety and security standards
- communicate effectively and demonstrate integrity at all times
