The role of a Cashier at Wingstop is integral to the company’s mission of delivering fast, friendly, and efficient customer service. This position requires an individual who is not only quick and efficient in processing orders both in-person and over the phone but also someone who can effectively communicate with team members across front-of-house and back-of-house operations to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Job Requirements
- Food Handler Certification required
- Strong cash handling skills
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Available to work flexible hours that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, late nights and/or holidays

- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of Wingstop
- Greet all guests in a friendly and welcoming manner whether by phone or in person
- Place orders for guests in-person and over the phone
- upsell and maintain knowledge of menu and sauce descriptions, along with new items and promotions
- Be knowledgeable on menu offerings, sauce descriptions and promotions to better assist guests in making order recommendations and answering questions
- Monitor that all orders are ready within quoted guest order readiness times
- Verify the accuracy and presentation of all guest orders before delivery to guests to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction
- Strong cash handling skills to accurately process cash, credit card and gift card transactions and balance of register at end of shift
- Assist in maintaining a clean workplace
- keep Front of House (FOH) clean and stocked
- including restrooms
- Restocking products during periods of downtime or as directed
- Practice safe food handling procedures by following all safety and sanitation guidelines
- promote safety in the workplace
- Maintain a professional and presentable appearance according to the companys Uniform Standards
- Receive and handle complaints from guests and guide the manager on duty if a problem requires escalation
