Job Duties
- Greet and engage customers actively
- process customer transactions quickly and accurately
- handle various tenders including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons, and loyalty offers
- adhere to cash shortage and overage limits
- enforce company policies on restricted sale items
- report pricing discrepancies to Scan Coordinator
- follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
- stay updated with current and seasonal promotions
- comply with all food safety regulations
- identify and report unsafe conditions and accidents
- perform preventive maintenance checks and report repair needs
- answer customer questions about products and store policies
- comply with all local, state, and federal laws
- work cooperatively in high-paced environments
- manage conflicts calmly and cooperatively
- act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
- follow directions and seek assistance when needed
- support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
- perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
