Job Duties
- Greet, engage and assist customers actively
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- Use the Point of Sale (POS) system to handle various payment tenders and loyalty offers
- Adhere to company policies on cash handling, restricted sales, and loss prevention
- Report pricing discrepancies and follow policies on coupons, gift cards, and postage stamps
- Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and safety procedures
- Create a welcoming environment by answering customer questions and supporting special needs individuals
- Follow all local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines
- Work cooperatively in high-paced environments while managing conflicts reasonably
- Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve customer and business issues
