Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Ability to manage cash transactions accurately
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to handle food service tasks
  • Ability to operate a cash register or equivalent
  • Willingness to work variable shifts including rotating weekends
  • Commitment to following safety and hygiene policies

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • One year of food service experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Handle cash and credit transactions from customers
  • Assist in setup and serving of food from counters and steamtables
  • Operate a cash register including receiving payment, making change, and issuing receipts or tickets
  • Ensure accurate ringing of proper PLU for sale items or accurate bar-code scanning
  • Maintain proper security of cash at all times
  • Assist in locating, reconciling, and verifying accuracy of transactions
  • Prepare for service before meals and clean the dining area after meals including wiping tables, vacuuming floors, and cleaning chairs
  • Set up and stock beverage area, grab and go items, service ware, and condiments
  • Clean and sanitize the workstation
  • Brew coffee and tea
  • Restock other beverage areas
  • Interact with customers in serving and dining areas
  • Provide the highest quality of service to customers
  • Understand and follow cash-handling policies and procedures
  • Comply with all HACCP policies and procedures
  • Comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
