Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a customer service or cashier role is an asset
- Proficient use of point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Basic knowledge of food safety standards
Job Duties
- Greet guests and take accurate orders using the POS system
- Ensure accuracy of guest orders and handle any questions or concerns professionally
- Maintain an organized, stocked, and sanitary workspace
- Participate in Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation fundraising initiatives
- Complete other restaurant functions such as food preparation, cleaning, and any duties assigned by management
- Maintain accuracy of the cash drawer and handle cash transactions
- Adhere to all established food and safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
