Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 70 pounds, climb, stoop, and sit for extended periods
Availability to work evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
Ability to deal with challenging customers effectively
Compliance with U.S. export control laws including providing required information for export screening

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
Previous cash handling experience
Proficient basic math skills and high attention to detail
Working knowledge of POS systems, NetSuite SCIS preferred
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to maintain composure and professionalism during high customer volume periods
Strong interpersonal skills including effective oral and written communication
Ability to lead, motivate, mentor, and interact positively with people
Positive attitude, goal driven, customer service oriented, and focused on the strategic goals of the organization

Job Duties

Provide outstanding customer service
Resolve customer issues to the best of your ability
Maintain the front end of the store in appearance through sweeping, dusting, restocking, and fronting
Greet customers promptly as they enter or exit the store
Bag or box items for customers
Collect payments including cash, check, charge, and gift cards
Complete sales, returns, exchanges promptly and accurately
Accurately operate cash register to ensure end of shift balance
Report to the store manager and follow daily instructions from the department lead
Perform all other duties as assigned
