Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 70 pounds, climb, stoop, and sit for extended periods
- Availability to work evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
- Ability to deal with challenging customers effectively
- Compliance with U.S. export control laws including providing required information for export screening
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous cash handling experience
- Proficient basic math skills and high attention to detail
- Working knowledge of POS systems, NetSuite SCIS preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain composure and professionalism during high customer volume periods
- Strong interpersonal skills including effective oral and written communication
- Ability to lead, motivate, mentor, and interact positively with people
- Positive attitude, goal driven, customer service oriented, and focused on the strategic goals of the organization
Job Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Resolve customer issues to the best of your ability
- Maintain the front end of the store in appearance through sweeping, dusting, restocking, and fronting
- Greet customers promptly as they enter or exit the store
- Bag or box items for customers
- Collect payments including cash, check, charge, and gift cards
- Complete sales, returns, exchanges promptly and accurately
- Accurately operate cash register to ensure end of shift balance
- Report to the store manager and follow daily instructions from the department lead
- Perform all other duties as assigned
