Job Duties

  • Actively greet and assist customers
  • process transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently
  • handle various payment types including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, and coupons
  • adhere to company policies on cash handling and restricted sales items
  • report pricing discrepancies and follow established policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
  • stay updated on current, seasonal, and special sales ads
  • comply with all food safety regulations and store safety procedures
  • identify and report unsafe conditions or accidents
  • perform preventive maintenance on equipment and report issues
  • create a welcoming environment by answering customer questions
  • comply with all federal, state, and local laws and company guidelines
  • work cooperatively in high-paced environments
  • manage conflict in a reasonable and cooperative manner
  • maintain honesty and integrity in handling customer and business information
  • seek assistance when needed to resolve customer issues
