Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous cashier experience preferred
  • basic math proficiency
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • basic computer skills
  • strong customer service orientation
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • process checkout and return transactions
  • monitor and maintain the self-checkout area
  • seek product and project knowledge to provide customer information and identify selling opportunities
  • position cashiers and support them by expediting price checks and approving transactions and markdowns
  • provide first-level escalation for customer issues
  • assist in supervising, coaching and training front-end associates
  • participate in the training of new cashiers and use coaching tools to develop other cashiers
