Job Duties

Greet and engage customers actively
process customer transactions quickly and accurately
handle various tenders including cash, checks, credit/debit, SNAP EBT, coupons
adhere to cash shortage and overage limits and control loss
comply with guidelines on restricted sale items such as alcohol and tobacco
report pricing discrepancies
follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
stay informed about current and upcoming promotions
comply with food safety regulations
enforce safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
perform preventive maintenance checks on equipment
create a welcoming environment by answering customer questions
adhere to all local, state, federal laws, and company policies
cooperate in a fast-paced environment
manage conflict reasonably and nonconfrontationally
act with honesty and integrity
follow directions and seek help as needed
provide assistance to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
perform essential job functions with or without accommodations
