Job Requirements
- Customer service experience
- Effective communication skills
- Knowledge of basic math including counting, addition, and subtraction
- Prior experience as a bagger or courtesy clerk preferred
- Ability to work cooperatively in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment
- Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational, and cooperative manner
- Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
- Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary
- Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service
- Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment
- Actively greet, engage, and assist customers
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently using the POS system
- Handle various tenders including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, offline SNAP EBT, WIC, rain checks, loyalty offers, and coupons
- Adhere to company policies on cash handling, restricted sale items, and coupons
- Report pricing discrepancies
- Follow all food safety regulations and safety procedures
- Identify unsafe conditions and notify management
- Maintain equipment by performing preventive maintenance and reporting repair needs
- Provide knowledgeable product information to customers
- Work cooperatively in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment
- Manage conflict reasonably and nonconfrontationally
- Demonstrate honesty and integrity in handling customer and business information
- Follow directions and seek assistance when needed
- Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
- Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
