Job Requirements

Customer service experience
Effective communication skills
Knowledge of basic math including counting, addition, and subtraction
Prior experience as a bagger or courtesy clerk preferred
Ability to work cooperatively in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment
Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational, and cooperative manner
Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary
Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Qualifications

Customer service experience

Experience handling various payment methods

Job Duties

Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service
Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment
Actively greet, engage, and assist customers
Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently using the POS system
Handle various tenders including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, offline SNAP EBT, WIC, rain checks, loyalty offers, and coupons
Adhere to company policies on cash handling, restricted sale items, and coupons
Report pricing discrepancies
Follow all food safety regulations and safety procedures
Identify unsafe conditions and notify management
Maintain equipment by performing preventive maintenance and reporting repair needs
Provide knowledgeable product information to customers
Work cooperatively in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment
Manage conflict reasonably and nonconfrontationally
Demonstrate honesty and integrity in handling customer and business information
Follow directions and seek assistance when needed
Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
