Job Requirements

Must be able to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 30 lbs
Ability to follow company policies and comply with all regulatory requirements
Willingness to participate in ongoing training
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Must be able to work in a fast-paced retail environment

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous customer service or retail experience desirable
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members
Demonstrated reliability, persistence, and a positive attitude toward teamwork
Basic math skills and cash handling experience
Commitment to providing compassionate and respectful service to diverse customers

Job Duties

Provide excellent customer service by engaging customers and addressing their needs
Handle cash transactions accurately including voids, refunds, and transaction cancellations
Follow store policies and procedures for WIC compliance, liquor, tobacco, and check handling
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front end area, store appearance, and personal presentation
Meet productivity goals related to cashier duties and bottom of the basket sales
Collaborate with team members to ensure store standards for safety, sanitation, and loss prevention are upheld
Participate in training and continuously improve service speed and efficiency
