Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent
Experience using POS systems preferably PDI Enterprise POS
Strong customer service abilities
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Ability to learn and perform tasks independently
Basic math proficiency
Valid Food Handlers Permit if applicable
Proficient English communication skills
Flexible availability for multiple shifts at different locations
Ability to stand and walk for entire shifts
Capability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch as required
Capacity to push and pull objects with up to 20 pounds of force
Coordination and manual dexterity for handling objects
Prior experience in retail or food service is advantageous.

Job Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED equivalent
Excellent computer skills with competency in PDI Enterprise POS
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to learn simple tasks quickly and work with minimal supervision
Basic math skills
Food Handlers Permit if required by store or county
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English
Availability to work all shifts as needed including at different stores within the district.

Job Duties

Take measures to preserve the safety of employees and others at the work location
Operate POS systems including cash register and fuel console, accurately managing money and payments
Enter transactions into register, conduct quick and accurate sales transactions
Perform service transactions according to policy including credit card, coupon, alcohol, tobacco, and lottery sales
Check identification for restricted sales according to company policy
Participate in sales promotions and campaigns
Practice suggestive selling and build customer relations
Adhere to all laws affecting store operations
Maintain neat appearance and wear company uniform
Prepare hot food items as designated
Ensure store cleanliness, including litter and spills removal
Sweep floors, mop, and clean assigned areas
Maintain fuel delivery areas and restock as needed
Spot check and restock restrooms
Clean counters, equipment, and trash removal
Dust merchandise and organize backroom
Receive and stock merchandise properly
Conduct daily inspections of perishable products
Follow company policies on safety, robbery prevention, and emergency procedures
Act as Barista back-up, brew coffee, and maintain condiment bar
Perform deep cleaning during designated shifts
Prepare the store for morning rush, ensuring equipment readiness.
