Job Duties

  • Greet customers and answer questions about services and policies
  • Accurately handle cash, credit, debit, and mobile payments using point of sale system
  • Ensure correct pricing is charged for meals
  • Issue receipts and refunds as necessary
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized area
  • Follow company policies, military procedures, and safety protocols
  • Assist customers in need
  • Report suspicious activity or loss prevention concerns
  • Serve customers with correct portions and menu items
  • Clean all table tops, counters, and window sills
  • Sweep and mop dining facility floors daily
  • Conduct bi-weekly floor waxing
  • Refill napkin dispensers, salt and pepper shakers, and condiment dispensers
  • Monitor, inspect, clean, and sanitize restrooms
  • Wash, peel, scrape, and cut vegetables and fruits
  • Prepare simple salads, slice and plate desserts
  • Prepare coffee, tea, and other beverages
  • Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils according to contract requirements
  • Clean kitchen floors and equipment daily or as needed
