Job Duties
- Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Process customer transactions quickly and accurately through the point of sale system
- Handle various types of payment including cash, checks, credit/debit cards, SNAP EBT, coupons, and loyalty offers
- Adhere to company policies on cash shortages, overages, and restricted sale items
- Report pricing discrepancies and maintain accurate checkout procedures
- Follow food safety and store safety regulations at all times
- Assist customers with inquiries about products and services while creating a welcoming store environment
