Customer service experience
Effective communication skills
Knowledge of basic math

Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk preferred

Job Duties

Greet and engage customers actively
Process customer transactions quickly and accurately
Handle various payment methods including cash, credit, checks, SNAP EBT, WIC, and coupons
Adhere to company policies on cash handling and restricted items
Report pricing discrepancies and follow coupon and gift card procedures
Maintain food safety and store cleanliness standards
Identify and report unsafe conditions and assist in safety program compliance
Provide excellent customer service and answer product inquiries
Work cooperatively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment
Manage conflict professionally and respectfully
Uphold honesty and integrity in all customer and business dealings
Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary
Assist special needs customers including minors and older adults
