Job Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age
have a high school diploma or equivalent
have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
demonstrate outgoing and friendly behavior
possess positive attitude
show ability to operate front end equipment such as register calculator scanner
be dependable and reliable
have good communication skills
ability to take direction and constructive criticism
ability to work in a team environment
be able to perform repetitious activities
ability to multitask prioritize and stay organized
lift and carry product up to 30 lbs horizontally and vertically
use both hands to move grocery carts horizontally with force up to 35 lbs
strong attention to detail
proficiency with numbers
ability to read write and count

Job Duties

Process customer orders quickly accurately and efficiently
ensure complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service
handle customer cash credit/debit payments and change accurately
provide customers with product location information and store event details
assist in resolving customer complaints
stock shelves face and dust products as needed
maintain cleanliness and order of checkout areas
