Job Requirements

be at least 18 years of age
have a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
able to lift and carry product weighing up to 30 lbs from 36 inches to 24 inches for up to 50 hours
able to move grocery carts horizontally requiring force up to 35 lbs for a distance up to 4 feet for up to 50 hours
dependable and reliable
ability to read, write and count
proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills

Job Qualifications

high school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
outgoing and friendly behavior
positive attitude and ability to interact with customers
ability to operate front end equipment such as register, calculator and scanner
good communication skills
ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
ability to perform repetitious activities and multi-task
strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers

Job Duties

process customer orders quickly, accurately and efficiently
ensure complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service
handle customer cash, credit and debit payments and change accurately
assist customers by providing information and resolving complaints
maintain knowledge of weekly ad items and store events
assist with stocking shelves, facing and dusting
maintain clean and orderly checkout areas
