Job Requirements

  • Prior fine dining experience required
  • ability to perform cashiering duties including cash handling and register operation
  • must be able to work part time with variable days and hours
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • ability to handle customer complaints professionally
  • must be able to comply with company policies and procedures

Job Duties

  • Perform sales transactions in a timely fashion
  • enter all sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded
  • make change, accept declining balance cards and other acceptable forms of payment
  • issue receipts to customers
  • follow standard procedures for issuing cash refunds
  • interact with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
  • be responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts ensuring that cash drawer is in compliance with overage/shortage standards
  • observe customer purchases in the cafe line and differentiate between standard portions
  • replenish condiments, coffee, other beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service areas
  • keep pastry case stocked
  • ensure compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures
  • ensure compliance with all sanitation, ServSafe and safety requirements
  • perform other duties as assigned
