Job Requirements
- No prior experience necessary
- Must successfully complete Smashburger training program
- Must be 16 years old or older
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Ability to work variable hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Adherence to Smashburger uniform policy
- Ability to comply with all company and legal employment regulations
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and provide valid work documentation
Job Qualifications

- Good communication skills
- Ability to work well in a busy restaurant environment

- Knowledge of customer service principles

Job Duties
- Greet guests with a smile
- Promote a fun and positive work environment
- Work effectively with others on the line and communicate with cooks and managers
- Be knowledgeable of menu items to make suggestions and answer questions
- Verify guest orders for accuracy and manage to-go orders
- Process POS transactions and handle cash according to policies
- Visit tables after food delivery to ensure guest satisfaction
- Encourage guests to complete surveys and adhere to marketing promotions
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, counters, dining area, and restrooms
- Follow personal, food safety, and security standards
- Upsell menu items through thoughtful suggestions
- Follow company procedures to minimize waste and ensure order accuracy
- Demonstrate integrity and follow cash handling policies
