Job Requirements

must lift and carry product horizontally and vertically weighing up to 30 lbs
must lift product from 36 inches to 24 inches for distances up to 3 feet for up to 50 hours without mechanical assistance
must use both hands to move grocery carts horizontally requiring force up to 35 lbs for distances up to 4 feet for up to 50 hours
must be able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
must have good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
must be dependable and reliable
must be able to handle repetitive tasks and multitask
must be at least 18 years old
must have a high school diploma or equivalent

Job Qualifications

be at least 18 years of age
have a high school diploma or equivalent
have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
demonstrate an outgoing and friendly behavior
have a positive attitude and ability to interact with customers
ability to operate front end equipment including register, calculator, and scanner
be dependable and reliable with the ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
possess good communication skills and ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
ability to perform repetitious activities
have multitasking, prioritization, and organizational skills
strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers
proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills
ability to read, write, and count

Job Duties

process each customer's order quickly, accurately, and efficiently
ensure complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service
handle customer cash, credit/debit payments, and change accurately
assist customers by providing information and resolving complaints
follow all front end procedures
assist with stocking shelves, facing and dusting as needed
maintain checkout areas in a clean and orderly condition
maintain knowledge of weekly ad items and store events
maintain excellent communication with front end manager and Head Cashier
execute other related duties as assigned
