Job Duties
- Process all payment methods in accordance with accounting procedures and policies
- follow property control audit standards and cash handling procedures including blind drops
- obtain, maintain, and secure assigned bank
- count bank at end of shift and complete designated cashier reports
- resolve discrepancies and drop off receipts
- set up and organize cashier workstation with necessary supplies and maintain cleanliness
- complete opening duties including setting up supplies, bank, and ensuring operational equipment
- follow all company safety and security policies and report accidents or unsafe conditions
- maintain professional appearance and confidentiality of proprietary information
- welcome and acknowledge guests with genuine appreciation and address their service needs
- communicate clearly and professionally including telephone etiquette
- develop positive working relationships and support team goals
- operate computer and point-of-sale systems efficiently
- stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- lift or move objects up to 10 pounds without assistance
- perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors
