Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 1 year of cashier experience
  • ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
  • basic math skills
  • excellent communication skills
  • willingness to learn and adhere to store policies
  • ability to stand for extended periods

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Provide customers with fast, friendly, accurate, and safe service
  • process checkout and return transactions efficiently
  • monitor and maintain the self-checkout area
  • seek product and project knowledge to inform customers and identify selling opportunities
  • follow all policies and procedures to minimize shrink
  • position Cashiers and support them by expediting price checks
  • approve Point of Sale transactions and markdowns for various departments
  • provide first-level escalation for customer issues
  • assist in supervision, coaching, and training of Front End Associates
  • participate in training new Cashiers
  • utilize all available tools to coach and develop Cashiers
