Job Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age
have a high school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
outgoing and friendly behavior
positive attitude and customer interaction skills
ability to operate register calculator and scanner
dependable and reliable
flexible schedule availability including nights weekends and holidays
good communication skills
ability to take direction and work in teams
ability to perform repetitious tasks and multitask
lift carry products up to 30 lbs
move grocery carts requiring force up to 35 lbs
strong attention to detail
proficiency with numbers
cash handling and mathematical skills

Job Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age
have a high school diploma or equivalent
have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
exhibit outgoing and friendly behavior
have a positive attitude and ability to interact with customers
ability to operate front end equipment including register calculator and scanner
possess good communication skills
ability to take direction and constructive criticism
ability to participate in a team environment
capable of performing repetitious activities multi-tasking prioritizing and staying organized
strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers
proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills
ability to read write and count

Job Duties

Process customer orders quickly accurately and efficiently
handle customer cash credit debit payments and give correct change
provide information and resolve customer complaints
follow all front end procedures and assist with stocking shelves facing and dusting
maintain knowledge of weekly ad items and upcoming events
maintain checkout areas clean and orderly
communicate effectively with front end manager and head cashier
