Job Requirements

Must be 18 years or older
Knowledge of basic math skills
Customer service experience
Potential travel to other stores for support
Ability to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally

Ability to operate point of sale (POS) systems
Friendly and enthusiastic demeanor
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow safety and cash handling procedures
Ability to work full-time or part-time shifts

Job Duties

Greet every customer in a helpful and courteous manner
Connect with customers, ask about their projects, recommend products, and excite customers about their purchase
Provide above and beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations
Demonstrate and understand compliance of the company's safety processes
Act and work in a manner consistent with the company's core values
Process customers at checkout using the point of sale (POS) system
Process customer refunds and exchanges according to established guidelines
Open and close registers
Follow established cash, check, and credit card acceptance procedures
Answer the telephone according to company guidelines
Stock, tag and display merchandise as required
Create price tags and merchandise signs
