Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cash handling experience preferred
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Requires the ability to bend, twist and stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift or push objects weighing over 10 lbs
- Strong communication skills
- Must comply with company cash handling and customer service policies
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays and evenings
Job Qualifications
- Cash handling and customer service experience preferred
- Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
- Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
- Ability to lift or push objects weighing over 10 lbs
- Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents
- Comfortable conversing with customers
Job Duties
- Operates a cash register and receives payment from customers in cash or credit card, accurately counts and provides change to customers as required, and follows all HMSHost customer service and cash handling policies and procedures
- Maintains a solid knowledge of products and services available in unit
- Cleans and stocks work area
- Assists in locating, reconciling, and verifying the accuracy of transactions
- Operates equipment with peripheral electronic data processing
- Performs all other responsibilities as directed by the business or assigned by management
- Provides friendly and enthusiastic customer interaction to ensure a positive guest experience
