- Maintains a safe work environment, adhering to all established food and safety guidelines
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cash handling or customer service experience a plus
- Strong knowledge of menu items and product offerings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Basic math skills and proficiency with POS systems
- Commitment to providing sincere and courteous guest service
- Ability to follow health, safety, and sanitation standards
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide prompt, friendly service
- Accurately take and enter customer orders into the POS system
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accuracy of the cash drawer
- Communicate effectively with guests to answer questions and resolve any concerns professionally
- Maintain an organized, stocked, and sanitary workstation
- Participate in Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation fundraising events
- Assist with food preparation and cleaning duties as directed by management
- Adhere to food safety and workplace safety guidelines
- Lift and move items up to 50 lbs as required
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations
