Job Requirements

  • At least 16 years of age
  • Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to move throughout the store
  • Ability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves with a ladder or similar equipment
  • Must meet federal, state, and local legal requirements for employment
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • Must be able to perform essential functions of the job or request reasonable accommodation

Job Qualifications

  • Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to provide friendly customer service
  • Cash handling skills
  • Knowledge of rewards programs and credit card enrollments
  • Familiarity with omni-channel retail processes
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and company policies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle physical demands of the role
  • Cross training in custom framing preferred

Job Duties

  • Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
  • Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience
  • execute cash handling to standards
  • Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
  • Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
  • Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
  • Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
  • Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including return/go back process and general store recovery
  • Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
  • Support shrink and safety programs
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company policies
  • Interact with others respectfully and positively
  • Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
  • Other duties as assigned
