Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of cashier experience preferred for Head Cashier position
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic computer skills to operate point-of-sale systems
  • Ability to follow store policies and procedures
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Process checkout and return transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Monitor and maintain the self-checkout area
  • Provide fast, friendly, and safe customer service
  • Seek product and project knowledge to inform customers and identify selling opportunities
  • Follow policies and procedures to minimize shrinkage
  • Position and support cashiers as a Head Cashier
  • Expedite price checks and approve transactions and markdowns
  • Handle first-level customer issue escalations
  • Supervise, coach, and train front-end associates and new cashiers
