be at least 18 years of age
have a high school diploma or equivalent
possess 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
ability to operate front end equipment
be dependable and reliable
ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
possess good communication skills
ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
ability to perform repetitious activities
ability to multitask and stay organized
lift/carry product weighing up to 30 lbs
use both hands to move grocery carts requiring force up to 35 lbs
strong attention to detail
proficiency with numbers
proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

greet customers and process orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently
handle customer cash, credit/debit payments, and change accurately
provide information and resolve customer complaints promptly
follow all front end procedures including stocking shelves, facing and dusting
maintain knowledge of weekly ads, store events, and product locations
ensure checkout areas are clean and orderly
communicate effectively with front end manager and head cashier
