With a rich history that spans over many decades, Rich's has established itself as a global leader in producing a diverse range of high-quality food products. These include cakes, icings, pizza, appetizers, specialty toppings, and more, which are widely used not only in homes but also by restaurants, bakeries, and various foodservice businesses worldwide. The company operates in over 100 locations globally and generates annual sales exceeding 4 billion dollars, showcasing its significant presence and impact in the food sector. Rich's commitment extends beyond providing excellent food products; it also supports its customers with insights and creative solutions designed to help food industry professionals remain competitive across various segments such as foodservice, retail, in-store bakery, deli, and prepared foods. The company culture emphasizes family values, inclusivity, and innovation, aiming to create an environment where both customers and associates can thrive. Rich's ethos is captured perfectly in their tagline: "Rich's®—Infinite Possibilities. One Family."

This particular job opportunity is for the role of a Carvel Route Sales Delivery Driver based in Buffalo, NY. The role is pivotal in maintaining the supply chain integrity of Carvel and Rich's frozen goods by ensuring timely and efficient delivery to supermarket accounts. This is a full-time position and carries a competitive salary range from $46,985.45 to $63,568.55 annually. The Carvel brand is part of the Rich's family and shares the same commitment to quality and customer service. The primary responsibility of the Route Sales Delivery Driver is to manage direct store deliveries, making sure that all products are delivered in excellent condition while also driving sales and fostering strong customer relationships. The role demands a high level of dedication to safety, sales volume, customer service, and in-store merchandising execution to meet company standards and customer expectations. Drivers typically cover 10-12 stops per day and may begin their routes as early as 3 a.m., with work schedules varying based on assigned routes. There is also a requirement to work on Saturdays during peak seasons to meet the increased demand.

Successful candidates for this position must demonstrate a strong work ethic, be a team player, and prioritize customer satisfaction. Physical demands are part and parcel of the job, including climbing in and out of the truck and lifting goods weighing up to 50 pounds. The company values experience but also provides support for candidates to obtain necessary qualifications such as the CDL-B license, including reimbursement for licensing fees after 30 days of employment. This role not only offers an opportunity to be part of a respected company but also builds a career path with personal growth and stable income. Rich's also emphasizes equal employment opportunity, providing accommodations for applicants with disabilities and maintaining an inclusive workplace environment. Additionally, the company offers various benefits designed to support work-life balance including competitive compensation, health and financial benefits, paid time off, parental leave, family planning support, flexible work policies, and community engagement opportunities. Joining Rich's means joining a family committed to fostering potential and success in every associate.
