Carhop/ Skating Carhop (server)

In this role, the Carhop ensures all products meet the operational, quality, and appearance standards before delivery to guests, which means understanding food handling protocols and maintaining cleanliness standards. The job involves balancing trays up to 25 pounds, which makes physical stamina and careful coordination essential. The Carhop must respond promptly to guests’ requests and deal effectively with any customer complaints in coordination with the Manager on Duty (MOD). Handling payments efficiently and accurately, including making change and managing transactions, is a critical component of the role. Maintaining work areas by clearing trays, disposing of trash, and performing regular cleaning and sanitation duties is mandatory for compliance with health and safety guidelines.

The Carhop position includes additional responsibilities for those trained as Skating Carhops, which require performing duties on roller skates, adding a dynamic and fast-paced element to the job. You will also be expected to stock food products weighing up to 50 pounds, which means both physical strength and safe lifting techniques are important. Flexibility with scheduling is necessary, as the shift times often cover irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
