This role demands physical stamina, as the Carhop will be carrying and balancing trays weighing up to 25 pounds while providing prompt, polite, and friendly service. Responsibilities include responding quickly to guest requests, assisting with payments and making accurate change, and clearing trays and trash from various areas such as guests' vehicles, patios, drive-thru lanes, and parking lots. Beyond these duties, the Carhop must also maintain cleanliness and sanitation within the working environment, performing tasks like trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes, wiping counters, sanitizing food preparation areas, and cleaning equipment regularly. This ensures compliance with all company policies, procedures, and operational standards.

Additional duties for this position may include reporting any employee complaints or issues to the manager on duty, moving and stocking food products weighing up to 50 pounds, and for those trained as Skating Carhops, performing on roller skates while fulfilling all required training. The role requires flexibility to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, accommodating the business's operational needs. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are important, alongside basic math and reading capabilities to handle transactions and follow directions efficiently.
