About: This position is with a popular drive-in restaurant known for its classic carhop service, where guests enjoy food delivered directly to their parked cars. The establishment is recognized for its unique dining experience that combines speed, convenience, and excellent customer service. As a carhop, the role involves engaging with customers swiftly and courteously to ensure they receive their orders promptly while upholding the quality and presentation standards of the food. Role Description: The carhop is a vital team member responsible for delivering food and beverages to guests by carrying trays that weigh up to 25 pounds, balancing speed with care to maintain high-quality standards. The service demands courteous interaction, fast response to guest requests, and attention to customer satisfaction. Carhops assist guests with payments, ensure accurate change handling, and maintain cleanliness inside and outside the restaurant premises. They perform routine cleaning tasks such as mopping, washing dishes, sanitizing food preparation areas, and disposing of trash to meet operational standards. Additional duties may include moving and stocking food products weighing up to 50 pounds and performing as a skating carhop after completing the necessary training, which involves serving guests while on roller skates. This position requires physical stamina including continuous standing, bending, lifting, and occasionally working in challenging environments such as exposure to heat, freezer conditions, and variable weather. The role demands excellent multi-tasking, communication skills, and a commitment to delivering an outstanding guest experience through friendly, fast service. Job Duties
- Ensure that product meets operational, quality, and appearance standards before being delivered to guests
- deliver product to guests by carrying and balancing a tray weighing up to 25 pounds

- assist guest with payment
- make accurate change quickly and efficiently
- clear trays and trash from guests vehicles, patio, drive-thru, and parking lot

- perform regular cleaning and sanitation duties including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes and food preparation tools, wiping counters, sanitizing food preparation areas, cleaning equipment, and emptying used grease
