Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior caregiving or home health aide experience preferred
  • effective communication skills
  • valid driver’s license
  • insured automobile
  • ability to follow care plans
  • dependable and trustworthy
  • ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and overnights

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred
  • ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • possess a valid driver’s license

Job Duties

  • Perform personal hygiene assistance including bathroom help and bathing
  • assist with ambulation and transfers
  • help with eating and dressing
  • prepare meals and snacks following instructions
  • accompany patients on errands or medical appointments
  • perform housekeeping activities such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, laundry, and cleaning bathrooms
  • provide patient-specific activities like medication reminders, assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises, preparing special diets, dementia care, incontinence care
