Job Requirements
- One year of caregiving experience in a home care setting is preferred but not required
- Driver's license
- Access to reliable vehicle and proof of insurance
- 18 years of age or over
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Access to reliable vehicle with proof of insurance
- Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate empathy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to follow care plans and medical instructions
- Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management as directed
- Help with mobility and transferring (e.g., moving from bed to wheelchair)
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements
- Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ physical or mental health to healthcare professionals or family
- Assist with transportation to appointments, errands, and social activities
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals
