Job Requirements

Complete a criminal background check
undergo motor vehicle record check
pass a drug screen
possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance if operating a vehicle
ability to interact compassionately and respectfully with seniors
reliable transportation to client locations
availability for morning or evening shifts
willingness to undergo company training

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
prior caregiving experience is a plus but not required
ability to communicate effectively and compassionately
reliable and punctual
willingness to complete training provided by Home Instead
valid driver’s license and auto insurance if driving clients

Job Duties

Provide companionship and conversation
perform light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
remind clients about medication and appointments
treat clients and their property with dignity and respect
communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
complete required background checks and drug screening
adhere to company policies and procedures
