Job Requirements
- Willing and able to work at least two weekly shifts with the same client(s) to provide consistent care and build strong relationships
- Have basic English speaking, reading, and writing abilities (bilingual or multilingual individuals are encouraged to apply)
- Complete any necessary compliance, license, or registration requirements
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Ability to pass background and reference checks
- Must have a valid driver’s license if mileage reimbursement is utilized
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in caregiving or related fields is an asset
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Compassionate nature with a genuine interest in elder care
- Basic understanding of personal care techniques
- Willingness to undergo paid training and certification process
- Ability to use mobile applications for schedule and communication
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to build trusting client relationships
Job Duties
- Foster relationships with clients through companionship and compassionate caregiving
- Assist with meal preparation and perform light housekeeping duties
- Provide personal care services, including assistance with grooming, bathing, restroom use, and managing incontinence
- Build consistent, trusting relationships by working at least two weekly shifts with the same clients
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate client needs and changes to the care team
- Follow safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe environment for clients
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance caregiving skills
