Job Description

NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, is a distinguished provider of rehabilitation services committed to supporting people of all ages who face brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, medically complex illnesses, and various other challenges. We operate in multiple locations and community-based settings across the United States, offering a diverse range of specialized programs designed to meet the unique needs of our clients. These programs include vocational and therapy services, day treatments, and dedicated services for infants, children, adolescents, military service members, and veterans. Our focus is on providing comprehensive care that empowers individuals to regain independence and improve quality of life through tailored therapeutic support and community integration.

At NeuroRestorative, we believe that every person deserves a chance to live a full, meaningful life regardless of the physical, intellectual, or behavioral challenges they face. As part of Sevita, a leading provider of home and community-based specialized healthcare, we leverage over 50 years of experience and a team of 40,000 professionals dedicated to innovating and enhancing the care we provide to more than 50,000 individuals across the country. Our collaborative and compassionate approach ensures that each person’s treatment plan is individualized and designed to foster growth, development, and lasting positive outcomes.

We are currently seeking passionate, caring individuals to join our team as Life Skills Trainers/Caregivers in a part-time capacity. This role is critical to our mission, offering the opportunity to make a significant difference every day in the lives of those we serve. The position provides flexible shifts, including early mornings (6 am - 3 pm) and overnight hours (11 pm - 7 am), and includes convenient Pay on Demand options. This role is based within a rehabilitation setting where you will directly assist individuals in developing essential living skills and engaging in their communities.

As a Life Skills Trainer/Caregiver, you will serve as a supportive guide helping individuals master daily living activities, from meal preparation and personal hygiene to shopping and cleaning, as well as administering medication when necessary. You will work closely with clinical staff to implement therapeutic and behavioral plans, ensuring that care is consistent and effective. Your efforts will facilitate meaningful community involvement, supporting clients’ vocational endeavors and accompanying them to various activities and appointments to enhance their independence and social integration.

This role is more than just a job; it is an opportunity to impact lives in a deeply rewarding way. Whether you bring prior human services experience or are new to the field but eager to contribute, we welcome your dedication and compassion. NeuroRestorative fosters a dynamic work environment where no two days are the same, emphasizing teamwork, continuous learning, and career development opportunities. Joining our team means becoming part of a respectful, inclusive culture dedicated to excellence in care and employee satisfaction.

We pride ourselves on the stability and security our organization offers, supported by funding from federal and state payers, alongside comprehensive benefits for full-time employees, including paid time off, health coverage, holiday pay, mileage reimbursement, and paid training. If you are motivated by making a measurable impact and desire to grow with a respected leader in rehabilitation services, consider joining NeuroRestorative today.
