Sevita has a rich history spanning over 50 years and supports approximately 50,000 individuals across the United States through a compassionate and innovative approach to specialized health care. In this role, caregivers build meaningful and supportive relationships with participants, encouraging and assisting them with daily living activities, personal hygiene, budgeting, nutrition, exercise, and community engagement. The job demands compassion, patience, and a commitment to providing respectful and individualized care.
As a caregiver at Sevita, employees are empowered to work with ownership and trust from leadership, to make decisions that benefit participants. This role involves helping individuals with complex needs, including behavioral challenges, providing support that enhances their quality of life and promotes their developmental goals. Sevita emphasizes an inclusive, supportive workplace culture, ensuring that caregivers are valued, recognized, and continuously developed through training and support systems.
Sevita also provides a competitive benefits package that includes pay on demand, a 401(k) retirement plan with company match, paid time off, holiday pay, and access to a supportive network of supervisors. This ensures job security and opportunities for professional growth within a stable, respected organization. The company is proud to maintain an equal opportunity employment policy, welcoming applicants from all backgrounds, and fostering diversity across its workforce.
