Job Description
Home Instead is a well-established, independently owned and operated franchise of Home Instead, Inc., an internationally recognized company dedicated to providing compassionate care for older adults. For over 30 years, Home Instead has been committed to helping seniors age with dignity and independence, offering a range of in-home caregiving services designed to improve quality of life. The Fayetteville office serves multiple locations, including Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers, Gravette, Bentonville, Prairie Grove, Farmington, Centerton, Bella Vista, Lowell, Eureka Springs, Siloam Springs, West Fork, and Green Forest, ensuring a broad outreach to communities in need of reliable, compassionate care.
As a Care Professional at Home Instead, you will play a vital role in supporting older adults in a meaningful and impactful way. The role offers competitive pay ranging from $13.25 to $17.00 per hour with the benefit of time-and-a-half holiday pay. Employees receive bi-monthly pay with the convenience of direct deposit and daily earned wage access through the TapCheck app, ensuring financial flexibility. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance (subject to eligibility), mileage reimbursement for travel between client homes, caregiver referral bonuses, paid time off (PTO), and 24/7 support through an easy-to-use app for real-time client updates.
This position is ideal for individuals with a caring and compassionate nature who are looking to make a real difference in the lives of older adults. It requires a minimum of six months of paid professional caregiving experience outside of family caregiving, a valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation for traveling to client locations. Prospective candidates must also pass a criminal background check, driving record check, and drug screening, ensuring the safety and well-being of the clients served.
In this role, you will provide one-on-one assistance with hands-on, non-medical daily living activities, including bathing, toileting, and dressing. Additional responsibilities include offering companionship and engaging in conversations to reduce feelings of isolation, preparing nutritious meals, providing medication reminders to promote health and well-being, and performing light housekeeping and laundry services to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment for clients.
The position offers both full-time and part-time hours with an expected commitment of 15 to 35 hours per week. Employees enjoy a flexible schedule that can accommodate their lifestyle while allowing them to deliver quality care. Work is conducted in-person at clients’ homes, emphasizing the importance of direct personal interaction and building lasting relationships based on trust, respect, and empathy.
Joining Home Instead means becoming part of a supportive and professional team dedicated to enhancing the lives of seniors within the community. With a focus on respect, independence, and compassion, Home Instead provides caregivers with the tools and resources they need to succeed in their roles and make a meaningful impact every day.
