Care Partner

This position is with an established assisted living community dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to elderly and disabled residents. The role of Care Partner is integral to maintaining the well-being and happiness of the residents while supporting a safe and nurturing environment. This position involves daily care assistance including helping with grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene tasks. You will monitor residents’ health by taking vital signs and recording any changes or unusual occurrences in their condition. Additionally, you will coordinate doctor appointments, assist with meals and laundry services, and respond compassionately to residents’ needs and emergencies. Your presence and interaction will enhance residents’ quality of life by providing companionship, answering call lights promptly, and facilitating recreational activities that promote physical and social engagement.

This care partner position requires individuals who demonstrate a genuine passion for elder care and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively. You must be patient, empathetic, and physically capable of assisting residents who may need support with mobility or other challenging tasks. Holding a valid driver’s license, and certifications such as CPR and First Aid according to state requirements, are essential prerequisites. Experience or certification as a nursing assistant is desired, though high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. The physical demands include the ability to lift and assist residents weighing over 100 pounds and performing moderate physical activities like stooping, bending, and reaching, to maintain excellent care standards.
