Job Description

Advanced Physical Therapy, a proud member of the Confluent Health family, is seeking a dedicated Full Time Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our team in Wichita, Kansas. As part of Confluent Health, we are committed to delivering exceptional outpatient rehabilitation care and fostering a patient-centric environment. Our organization values diversity, inclusivity, and employee well-being, aiming to create a supportive workplace where each team member can thrive and contribute to our mission of enhancing patient health through quality therapeutic services.

As a full-time position offering competitive pay between $17 to $18 per hour, this role operates from Monday through Friday, 9 am to 6 pm, ensuring a consistent schedule that promotes work-life balance. The Front Desk Medical Receptionist plays a vital role in the daily operations at Advanced Physical Therapy, acting as the first point of contact for patients and visitors. This individual manages essential administrative and clerical duties, providing a welcoming atmosphere and exceptional customer service.

The responsibilities within this role include managing front desk operations such as patient check-in and check-out procedures, appointment scheduling, and coordination of referrals, all while maintaining accurate and updated patient records in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. Verifying insurance coverage, processing authorizations, and collecting payments are also key elements of the position, contributing toward seamless billing processes and efficient patient care access.

The ideal candidate will exhibit strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to handle sensitive information with discretion in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Effective communication skills are essential for interacting with patients, healthcare professionals, and team members to foster a professional and compassionate environment. While previous experience in a similar role is desirable, it is not mandatory, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build or advance their career in medical administrative support.

Advanced Physical Therapy supports its employees through a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, short-term and long-term disability coverage, and life insurance. We offer generous paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employer matching, and additional parental perks, all designed to encourage employee wellness and financial security.

Joining Advanced Physical Therapy means becoming part of a dynamic healthcare team dedicated to providing quality patient experiences and fostering professional growth. We pride ourselves on a culture that values each employee's contributions, promotes inclusivity, and champions continuous learning and development.
