Job Description

RET Physical Therapy & Healthcare Specialists is a proud member of the Confluent Health family, dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services with a patient-focused approach. As part of Confluent Health, RET Physical Therapy & Healthcare Specialists benefit from an employee-centric culture and a steadfast commitment to the well-being and professional growth of their team members. The organization is known for its excellent healthcare practices and its mission to improve patient outcomes through compassionate care and advanced therapies. RET Physical Therapy specializes in physical therapy treatments, focusing on rehabilitation and pain management, ensuring that patients receive tailored and effective care plans within a supportive environment.

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Front Desk Medical Receptionist to become an essential part of our dynamic team. This role is crucial as the first point of contact for patients, providing not only patient check-in and check-out services but also managing appointment schedules, coordinating referrals, and maintaining a smooth operation at the front desk. The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $19 to $23, with a typical full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, supporting a balanced work-life dynamic.

The Front Desk Medical Receptionist will play a vital role in delivering superior customer service and operational efficiency. The responsibilities include handling patient payments to support accurate billing processes, registering new patients, updating patient information in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, preparing necessary documentation, and answering phone calls with professionalism and courtesy. The role demands strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient privacy and foster a welcoming and secure healthcare environment.

Employees at RET Physical Therapy benefit from robust support mechanisms facilitated by Confluent Health, including competitive salaries, a comprehensive suite of medical, dental, and vision insurance options, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability (STD and LTD) coverage, and generous paid time off (PTO). In addition, team members are eligible for a 401(k) plan with employer matching, free life insurance, parental perks, and more, reinforcing the organization's dedication to employee welfare and retention.

Ideal candidates will possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent, coupled with basic office administrative and customer service skills. While previous experience in a similar role is desired, it is not a strict requirement, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start or develop their careers in healthcare administration. The position offers room for growth within a supportive and inclusive workplace that values diversity and equal opportunities for all employees.

At RET Physical Therapy and Confluent Health, equal employment opportunity is a core principle. The organization is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce and prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression (including pregnancy and related medical conditions), national origin, marital status, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic as defined by law.
