Job Duties
- managing front desk operations including patient check-in/check-out appointment scheduling and referral coordination
- verifying insurance coverage processing authorizations and collecting payments
- maintaining accurate patient records by registering new patients and updating EMR system
- answering phone calls assisting patients courteously while upholding HIPAA compliance
- preparing patients for treatment assisting with transfers and transportation
- preparing equipment and treatment areas cleaning treatment areas and maintaining tidy gym environment
- ensuring treatment areas are well stocked and setting up patients with modalities
