At Vi La Jolla Village, the Care Center Concierge position offers a unique part-time opportunity for individuals passionate about customer service and community engagement. Working Wednesday through Friday from 4 pm to 11:30 pm, the Care Center Concierge plays a vital role in ensuring that all residents and guests feel welcomed, comfortable, and supported. This role is essential in maintaining the smooth operation of community systems and providing immediate assistance to residents' inquiries and needs.
As a member of the resident services team, the Care Center Concierge acts as the first point of contact for all visitors and residents entering the community. The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional communication skills, a friendly and professional demeanor, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Responsibilities include answering resident questions, addressing simple needs, monitoring emergency response and community systems, and managing incoming calls effectively. This position requires a proactive and resident-focused approach to problem-solving, ensuring that any issues are addressed quickly and courteously.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior customer service experience preferred
- Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Resident and customer-focused mindset
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in a customer service environment preferred
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications required or willingness to become certified
- Excellent oral communication skills including a clear speaking voice
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to deal with stress and act responsibly with good judgment in emergencies

Job Duties
- Welcome and direct all residents and guests of the community
