Job Description

Covenant Living is a distinguished nonprofit senior living provider, recognized as the nation's sixth-largest organization in this sector. Founded with roots in the ministries of the Evangelical Covenant Church since 1886, Covenant Living has built a reputable legacy in Turlock and its surrounding communities by offering compassionate, high-quality care to older adults. The organization is committed to enhancing the lives of seniors by promoting and maintaining their physical, psychological, and spiritual well-being. This commitment is reflected in their mission to create joy and peace of mind for residents and their families by fostering a better way of life. Their faith-based community environment emphasizes teamwork, respect, and dedicated service, making Covenant Living an exceptional workplace for healthcare professionals eager to make a meaningful impact.

The Personal Care Attendant (PCA) role at Covenant Living is a per diem position offering hourly compensation starting at $16.63, with a pay range from $19.60 to $22.60. This position provides an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about elder care to join a mission-driven team. PCAs at Covenant Living play a vital role in delivering personalized care to residents in assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care settings. Their responsibilities cover a broad spectrum including personal hygiene assistance, medication reminders, companionship, homemaker services, transportation, and respite care. By supporting residents in activities such as bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, and mobility, PCAs directly contribute to improving the quality of life of older adults.

Covenant Living values employees who are inspired to serve and uphold high customer service standards centered on safety, courtesy, responsiveness, and professional image. The organization fosters a supportive and faith-oriented atmosphere where care providers can grow their healthcare careers while making a positive difference daily—whether through enhancing the smile of a resident, aiding in rehabilitative progress, or offering comfort to families. Full-time employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, employer-paid group life and disability coverage, paid time off, holidays, a 403(b) retirement plan with employer matching, access to fitness centers, and various voluntary benefits such as tuition assistance and pet insurance. Candidates must have a high school diploma, CPR certification, a valid driver's license with reliable transportation, and at least six months of caregiving experience, plus adherence to California's COVID-19 vaccination mandates. Join Covenant Living and be part of a compassionate team dedicated to enriching the lives of seniors with kindness and respect.
